From starting out a a high jumper, Jade switched to discus as a teenager and her “stubborn” streak and a strong work ethic kept her from losing heart in the face of her relative lack of early success. After winning a Bronze medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Jade has since made great progress to become one of Britain's top ranked female athletes. A regular on the IAAF Diamond League circuit, Jade competed at the Rio Olympic Games.
